The creative idea for the Alberta Ferretti for Impulse Only at Macy’s collaboration: Italian fabulousness, movie star mania and the paparazzi on the heels of our muse. Positano, Italy was where the chase took place and where the storyline took shape. What a mix and what a perfect narrative for a collection that evoked the spirit of the designer’s colorful country and showcased her fashions.   Filmed in collaboration with famed photographer, Ellen Von Unwerth, the story played out like a mini movie and press headlines with the fashions in the spotlight alongside Italian supermodel and campaign muse, Mariacarla Boscono.
