The creative idea was to build a story and campaign that underscored the iconic designer’s signature cowboy-meets-rockstar aesthetic. Alongside Anna, muse, model, musician and longtime friend, Karen Elson, took center stage to express the combined edgy elements and delicate details of the collection. Karen’s music set the tone for the video in which Anna and her fashions were central figures. 

Known for her whimsical, rock-n-roll-loving style, celebrated photographer Ellen Von Unwerth, was chosen to capture the quintessential Anna look, style and feel on film. On the set, the western theme prevailed with inspiration coming directly from the mixture of color, texture, found objects and wonder that permeates Anna’s showroom.  

The 360° initiative, kicked off a media takeover which included video, social, national magazine, digital, mobile, station domination, in-store events, press events, animated gifs, custom emojis and blog articles.
