The Giambattista Valli for Impulse Only at Macy’s installment inspired the creative storyline borrowing from the designer’s haute fashions and his passion for all things French. On location in Paris, the City of Lights became the backdrop and Valli’s own couture atelier, with all its dramatic flair, became the perfect setting. A strong Giambattista influence was infused not only into the graphic collection, but also into the set.
With their offbeat aesthetic, the dynamic photography duo, Inez & Vinoodh, injected their signature strangeness into the story adding to the Giambattista drama. Of-the-moment models were the muses and reflected a celebration of the designer’s biggest inspiration, “the energy and vitality of women themselves.”
The highly anticipated collection garnered great buzz in advance to the kick off of the 360° campaign.
