Undoubtedly, a personal inspiration to me, the Karl Lagerfeld for Impulse Only at Macy’s capsule collection warranted a creative idea that reflected the legendary and extraordinary flair of the multifaceted designer. Shot in his Paris atelier, famed for his library featured in one of photos, the mood and the magic were entirely Lagerfeld. Flirty dresses, tweed separates and faux leather in black, white and blushes of pink dominated the collection, but the hero piece, by far, was the soft, slouchy tee emblazoned with the visionary’s image.
