In my role as SVP Creative Director, the topmost priority was to strike the right balance between emotional messaging and product mixes for narratives that lured in loyalists as well as Generation Nexters. Just as pointed, and adding to the iconic force that is Macy’s, were the colorful collaborations that brought together powerhouses, rock stars, music icons and more to create fever-pitch excitement. The campaigns hit across all major touchpoints in omnimedia blitzes that included everything from spot TV to social networks assuring that no target would be missed.
